Ghost Train Haze. This one is a great one because I feel that this weed is very unique and set apart from other strains. When I smoke this, I really want to get up and go on adventures. I feel aware of my surroundings and can even focus very well. But, at the same time, feel very chill and carefree. Carefree is the best word to describe the feeling. You just feel ALIVE. You feel perfect. You'll want to stay in the great moments you have with this weed forever.

S.....tLeafly User

I like to write long reviews but short story, this my favorite strain and is unbelievable for depression. Perfect morning strain. Honestly, this is no "beginner" strain and anyone that has grown this strain right, is in for a ride. I found that as a small guy with a fairly high tolerance (even when I haven't smoked for a while) it even knocks me back with only a bowl or two.

S.....6Leafly User

A must have sativa! This was great while walking on a nice day. Energizing, uplifting, and just a bliss feeling. The taste was intensely citrus with sweet earthy undertones. Smelled like fresh lemons under a sappy pine tree (haha) is the best way to describe the pungent aroma. Everytime you crack open the jar you take a big whiff.

J.....rLeafly User

This strain lives up to its name! The effects are exactly as they sound, like you got hit by a damn train. A train of rushing, heavy, full, highly potent cargo of cannabinoids. As soon as it peaks, it's like being smashed in the face with a mushrooming sledgehammer. Then wham! Then - EVERYTHING is heightened.

D.....lLeafly User

This is some LOUD Herb! Super citrus lemon mint smell. A Top 5 strain now in my own opinion. Very smooth smoke, beautiful Amber and snow look to it. Helps in all ways for a person needing and uplifted day and down in the waters. Grab it if you can! Must try.

What Are Terpenes & Why Are They Important?

What Are Terpenes & Why Are They Important?

By Cannabis 101

What Are Terpenes & Why Are They Important?

Terpenes are naturally occuring organic compounds found in plants. They are responsible for the smell of most plants, fruits, herbs, etc., including cannabis.

Different amounts and combinations of terpenes are unique to every plant. In nature, a plant’s smell is used to both attract and repel insects and animals. For example, a foul-smelling fruit may discourage animals from eating it, while a sweet smelling flower will attract pollinators.

Terpenes vs. Cannabinoids What Are Terpenes?

Unlike cannabinoids, terpenes do not directly contribute to making you feel “high.” But, some terpenes are still considered to be psychoactive because they can affect your brain. While terpenes are responsible for the smell of the plant, some may also affect your brain in a similar way to cannabinoids. The difference is that they are not processed by our bodies in the same way.

Humans brains have their own internal endocannabinoid systems that we use to maintain homeostasis. This system also allows us to process cannabinoids through a network of neurotransmitters and receptors.

For example, THC is a cannabinoid that activates the CB1 receptors in our brain. On the contrast, the cannabinoid CBD restricts activity in the CB1 receptors and also binds to other parts of the body, including 12 targets in the brain alone.

The entourage effect is the theory that terpenes will affect the experience of your high. It works like aromatherapy. Scents from different plant-based essential oils can impact a person’s mood. So while they may not directly be responsible for making you feel “high,” they can certainly play a role in the effects you feel from THC.

In summary, terpenes act as the wheels of a bus, while cannabinoids are the driver. The terpenes aid in the effects that are made possible by the cannabinoid content.

What are Concentrates?

Concentrates, oils and extracts, also known as “dabs,” are products that have been processed to extract both cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant while removing excess plant material. Because of this, concentrates have a much larger concentration of cannabinoids and terpenes than flower alone.

Check out our blog article to learn more about the different types of concentrates available on the market.

However, you don’t need to smoke dabs to enjoy terpenes. Other options include tinctures, topicals and edibles.

Limonene is the second most common terpene in nature and can also be found in citrus rinds. In short, it is used in topical products to allow other chemical compounds to pass through the skin faster.

Absolutely one of my top favorites, love to enjoy this strain during the day. Very happy and uplifting high, and the taste is just amazing. I make sure I always have some in my stash at all times.

This flower is top of the line, one of the few strains I can actually taste the hints of flavor. The nugs were dense and a lighter color. I can see how it’s a sativa leaning strain. I would definitely get another 8th of this.

Very strong flower, not for the weak. Effects felt after the first few pulls. Slight diesel aroma with sticky, fluffy buds that will leave you covered in THC. Wipe away all pain and nausea with this hard hitter!

This strain is strong and amazing. Don't smoke this if you aren't ready for a extreme high. If you've been getting strains and feel like it's not dank enough...then please try this strain. You won't be disappointed

B.........Leafly User

I'm all about Indicas and this one does not disappoint. I have a high tolerance so this strain is perfect. Heavy, hard hitting effects producing a great head and body high. Highly recommend!

D.....Leafly User

Definitely a hard hitter... I was very impressed with the flavor and aroma along with the immediate warm fuzzy haze that came after the first hit. This strain has moved to the top of my list.

J.....Leafly User

Some of the best strains I have ever tried. Always very nice looking nugs with strong smell and the most dense structure

R.....Leafly User

Quattro Kush is def a nighttime/day off/no responsibilities type of bud. Very potent body “high” if that’s the right word…couch lock sets in at like 15 min and I don’t even feel like moving my fingers anymore to write this. Total body relaxation and mentally a very sleepy tranquility…almost no anxiety which is amazing for flower of this %. Amazing strain, def not the strain for getting shit done but the strain to spend a day off with or relax before bed.

S.....Leafly User

I honestly think this is a pretty good strain. I bought some lied/flower prerolls and then broke them down into a bowl. Taste was sour and Danky. The effects kicked in quickly. Was nice after a day full of physical activity. It definitely gave me an appetite.

I was expecting it to be a lot sweeter based on the name but I was very pleasantly surprised with how earthy and neutral it was all around!
